On The Spot: Fundraiser for The Artists’ Health Centre Foundation

AHCF On The SpotThe Artists’ Health Centre Foundation (AHCF) would like to announce that a limited number of $35 Artist Tickets are now available to professional artists’ for our first Annual Gala Fundraiser ON THE SPOT…Putting Artists’ Health in the Spotlight. We invite professional artists from all disciplines to join us for a night of great food and guest performances by acclaimed artists to raise money and awareness for the Artists’ Health Centre Foundation, Canada’s only organization dedicated to improving health care services and resources for professional performing and creative artists.

On the Spot…Putting Artists’ Health in the Spotlight, takes place on Tuesday, September 25th, 2007. Hosted by CBC TV’s very own Mary Ito (host of Living in Toronto), this eclectic evening at the Artcore gallery in Toronto’s historic Distillery District will feature well-known local performers including actors Fiona Reid and Brent Carver, singer Patricia O’Callaghan, and dancer/choreographers Hari Krishnan and Andrea Nann.

A unique silent auction will feature exciting behind the scenes “experiences” with some of Toronto’s well-known arts personalities and organizations including CBC TV’s Evan Solomon and Carole MacNeil, and Rick Mercer, Onnig Cavoukian (Cavouk Portraits), and jewelry artist Joanna Sipos, among others.
