In this intimate two-hander, Tremblay pays homage to the colourful, down-to-earth mother who nurtured his imagination and his love for literature and the arts.
We meet the writer and his mother at five different stages of their lives together.
ROLES
NANA – Caucasian, female – 40′s
NARRATOR – Caucasian, male – 30′s
BOTH ROLES REQUIRE STRONG DRAMATIC SKILLS AND COMEDIC TIMING.
(French Canadian accents are an asset as they may be used for this production.)

PREPARATION
Please prepare one dramatic and one comedic monologue totaling no more than 4 minutes,
and be prepared to read from the script. There is a copy on hold at the Toronto Reference Library.
Please bring headshot and résumé to the audition.
Note that this is a non-Equity/ACTRA and non-paying engagement.
