Call for Submissions: 09/10 Groundswell Festival, Nightwood Theatre

Groundswell, Nightwood’s (www.nightwoodtheatre.net) play development program is a nationally recognized forum for the creation and development of new work by women. It brings together emerging and established playwrights, directors and actors from across the country, for provocative creative exchange. Six playwrights receive ongoing dramaturgical support over the course of the year culminating towards a week long festival of public staged readings.

The Groundswell Festival is a culmination of eight months of work and the playwrights will workshop the script with professional director and actors leading up to the public Groundswell readings.
