Half-day workshops led by core members of the Gargantua ensemble including Artistic Director Jacquie P.A. Thomas and Playwright-in-Residence Michael Spence.
This workshop offers an exciting opportunity for professional actors to experience Theatre Gargantua’s critically acclaimed method of creating imagistic physical music theatre.
Participants will be instructed in Theatre Gargantua’s distinctive style of creation, including training in movement, voice, and text exploration/creation. Working closely with Theatre Gargantua’s core creative ensemble, actors will be given tools to develop original movement and vocal compositions and will learn how to integrate these creations with text.
