Theatre Direct is accepting rental applications for our brand new fully equipped. 80 -115 seat theatre facility and studio space suitable for 50 -60 persons located in the Artscape Wychwood Barns surrounded by park land in the heart of mid-town Toronto.
Theatre Direct invites arts companies to discover this vibrant, arts-friendly and diverse community.
While Theatre Direct’s programming is conceived especially for young people (children and youth), we are striving to curate a dynamic blend of year-round performing arts and arts-related programming that will engage and cultivate an arts appreciation in each member of our community.
We are extremely interested in making cross-disciplinary and cross-generational connections so we encourage applications from literary, music, dance, and performance companies serving a variety of audiences from youth to seniors.
Weekly and monthly rentals available for production or rehearsal.
Daily Rentals: Our theatre is perfect for launches, lectures or film screenings. Our studio opens onto terraces and beautiful park land making it perfect for any friendly weather fundraising events.
