Call for Submissions: Theatre Ontario’s Professional Theatre Training Program, Theatre Ontario

The Professional Theatre Training Program funded by the Ontario Arts Council offers financial support for unique and flexible training with a chosen mentor in any theatrical discipline except performance. One can apply for professional development in one’s own discipline or a “change of direction” in a career. To apply, applicants must have at least two years of professional experience following their formal education.

The Ontario Nonprofit Network’s Steering and Advisory Committees are growing. This is a chance for passionate, dedicated, deeply knowledgeable people from across the sector to address the issues that affect us all. ONN has a small staff team that supports hundreds of wonderful volunteers across the sector, and the Steering and Advisory Committees sit at the heart of this work. Audition: RENT, The Lower Ossington Theatre

The Lower Ossington Theatre is casting all roles for “RENT”.

Auditions will be held at the Lower Ossington Theatre on February 15th, 16th, 17th and 19th 2012.

Rehearsals will begin in March. “RENT” will run from May 24th – June 16th.

Applicants are asked to submit their headshot and resume to auditions@lowerossingtontheatre.com. Those selected for an audition will be asked to prepare two contrasting contemporary songs (no more than 32 bars) to be sung a capella. It is not mandatory that audition material be from the Musical Theatre Genre. All roles for this production are unpaid.
