Dancemakers is looking to fill two contracts for the 2012-2013 season and invites interested dancers
to an open audition. The company seeks to work with curious artists who revel in discovery, difference and the collaborative process; artists must have a desire to push their practice intellectually, emotionally, vocally and physically within a small working environment that simultaneously privileges the individual and the ensemble.
Dancemakers is a Toronto based contemporary dance company under the artistic direction of choreographer Michael Trent. The company performs throughout Canada and partners with the Centre for Creation, a space that supports the development of dance artists and audiences.
Date: May 4, 2012 (Callback May 5: only those able to potentially commit to both days should consider this opportunity)
Place: Dancemakers Centre for Creation The Historic Distillery District, 9 Trinity Street, Suite 313, Toronto (new address, same building!!)
Time: May 4: registration begins at 9am, class starts at 10am. Day will end by 5:30pm at the latest. May 5: 11-6pm.
