It is now time to send in your calls for volunteers for events taking place between September 15 and November 1, 2012. Enter the details of your organization and volunteer job you are seeking to fill directly on our website. We will include this listing in the next Volunteer Bulletin going out on September 10, 2012.

ABOUT TORONTO ARTS VOLUNTEER NETWORK
As part of our mandate to increase the resources available to arts organizations in Toronto, Toronto Arts Foundation would like to share our wealth of volunteers with you. Over the past years, we have developed a large database of enthusiastic and qualified volunteers who are looking to donate their time and energy to interesting projects in the arts. We send out a bi-monthly volunteer bulletin to over 1,100 arts volunteers across the city. In each newsletter we outline various volunteer opportunities including a position description, skills required, time commitment and any other pertinent details. Then qualified volunteers respond to opportunities that are of interest to them directly to the organization posting the job. In 2010, over 25,000 volunteers donated 540,000 hours to arts events supported by Toronto Arts Council.

Our Toronto Arts Volunteer web page is located on the Toronto Arts Foundation site. There is also a VOLUNTEER button on every page of TAC and TAF that connects to the Volunteer page, making it easy for anyone to find a volunteer job, post a call to volunteers in our bulletin, or read stories from others volunteers about why they volunteer in the arts.
Scrolling down the Volunteer page will take you to Find a Volunteer Job, Advertise a Volunteer Job, Volunteer Stories and the latest copy of the Toronto Arts Volunteer Bulletin. While the Bulletin is sent out every two months, you can enter your posting anytime you like.
