TEDxToronto is Canada’s largest TEDx event, a platform for exceptional ideas, and a catalyst for profound change.
In addition to our annual, one-day conference, which draws a diverse and passionate array of speakers and audience members, TEDxToronto runs community programming throughout the year exploring issues with local relevance. Talks from the conference have been viewed millions of times around the globe …and five of our speakers have been featured on TED.com, one of the world’s best platforms for big ideas. All of TEDxToronto speakers and organizers are volunteers, committed to developing innovative solutions and amplifying the ideas that we hope will make Toronto — and the world — a better place.
Thank you for taking the time to fill out the delegate application for TEDxToronto 2012.
After the selection process is complete, we will send an email invitation to successful applicants for participation in the conference. Upon accepting the invitation, they will be prompted to confirm their attendance and purchase a ticket ($100 tax inclusive) for the conference and after party. Ticket subsidization will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Due to the large number of delegate applications we receive each year, we will not be able to accommodate all applicants. For those not invited to participate in this year’s event, we will be hosting remote viewing parties around the city and livesteaming the event.
There will also be a waiting list created in the event that successful applicants are not able to attend.
