WORDS 2.0: A CELEBRATION OF INTELLECTUAL POTENTIAL
September 7, 2012 @ The Glass Factory (99 Sudbury Street)
8:30 PM – 2:00 AM
What: “The more you read, the more things you know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” Celebrate Dr. Seuss and other word nerds at WORDS 2.0, a fundraising gala in support of Literature for Life. Get in the party mood with performances by drum duo Team Rhythm Work, live artists, Beckie DiLeo Ross, DJ Ray Gillespie, Honourary Chair Tanis Rideout, and celebrity DJ Eon “The Soul Proprietor” Sinclair from Bedouin Soundclash. Wet your appetite with food and drinks provided by Church Aperitivo Bar and Gourmet Bitches food truck. And don’t forget to try your luck at the WORDS 2.0 silent auction, showcasing coveted items, including two West Jet tickets to any destination.
Party with a purpose and join the conversation @Literature4Life and #WORDS2012
