The Peace Maker is a new play written by Natasha Greenblatt and directed by Jennifer Brewin.
Presented at the Next Stage Festival January 2nd -13th.
We are looking for actors who can play a musical instrument. However, performers who are musical (vocalists, etc) and enthusiastic about the project should apply.
- Actress: SOPHIE is in her early/mid twenties, Jewish-Canadian, music teacher. Smart, passionate, with a deep desire to “make a difference”. Musical ability necessary, instrument a plus. Please bring instrument to the audition if possible.
- Actress: HANEEN is a teenage Palestinian musical prodigy. Fierce and angry, she is hiding a strong need to find friendship. We are looking for someone who can (ideally) speak Arabic (accent necessary) and play a musical instrument well. Please bring instrument to the audition if possible.
Scripts will be made available to those selected for an audition.

Actors with Jewish, Palestinian and Middle Eastern backgrounds will be given preference, however all qualified performers are encouraged to apply.
