Workshop: Feldenkrais® – Awareness Through Movement, Artists’ Health Centre Foundation

Four Week Series: Wednesday October 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th 6:30 – 8:00pm

Artists of all kinds use their body in skilful and nuanced ways, but over time can develop painful impediments to easy movement. Through gentle, structured movement explorations, Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement can help you discover new ways to connect and support the movement of your arms through your whole body, and move with more lightness and ease.

In this series of classes you will:

  • Gain greater range and ease in reaching and other movements of the arms
  • Create more freedom and agility through your chest and upper back
  • Feel the support of your whole body in using your arms
  • Release excess holding in your shoulders
  • Learn techniques you can do on your own to improve your mobility, comfort and function
