The Lab Cab Festival is a two-day multi-disciplinary arts festival set in and around Toronto’s historic Factory Theatre.

The 4th Annual Lab Cab Festival features new work by over sixty of Toronto’s finest artists. Musicians, actors, writers, dancers, painters, film-makers, photographers, poets, storytellers, directors, comedians and clowns showcase their talent in every nook and cranny of the Factory Theatre; utilizing both theatres, the dressing rooms, the parking lot, the greenroom, the carpentry shop, the rehearsal hall, the staircases, the lobbies, the courtyard, and even the bathrooms! Audiences choose their own schedule from pieces ranging anywhere between two and thirty minutes.

The Lab Cab Festival is family friendly and FREE FREE FREE!!!

Lab Cab was founded and produced by actor and photographer Aviva Armour-Ostroff as a monthly multi-arts cabaret at the Factory Studio Theatre in 2001. By the time Lab Cab retired after five successful years, it had become a staple in the independent arts scene, a venue where both new and established artists from any discipline could experiment in a safe and supportive environment. In September 2006, Lab Cab successfully expanded into the Lab Cab Festival, an annual event unifying diverse artistic communities under one roof. More information on the Artists scheduled to perform will be released soon.  Join the Lab Cab Festival Facebook group or check the website, www.labcab.ca for information on last year’s festival and this year’s as it is added.

  • a 3-hour training session to take place approximately 2 weeks prior to the event; and
