Auditions: Once The Musical, Jim Carnahan Casting


Audition for the hit Broadway musical, ONCE.

We are currently seeking highly skilled actor/musicians for the Broadway and National Touring productions, as well as future productions of the show.


Men (22-55 years old) who play guitar. Other instruments that are extremely useful: bass guitar, cello, piano, ukulele/mandolin & drum kit, but strong guitar playing is a requirement. Must also be a strong actor/singer.


Women (20-35 years old) who play the piano or violin/fiddle/viola. You must play at least one of these instruments extremely well. Must also be a strong actor/singer.


Women (40-50 years old) who play the accordion and piano. Must also be a strong actor/singer.


WHEN: Saturday, January 18th, 2014. Doors will open & sign in will begin at 9:30AM. Auditions will begin at 10AM. You MUST be signed in by 11AM to be guaranteed an audition.

WHERE: Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts. 736 Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario, M5S 2R4.  Please enter through the Randolph Theatre main doors on the corner of Lennox and Bathurst.

WHAT TO PREPARE: A short folk/rock song in the style of the show. All actors MUST sing & accompany themselves on one of the instruments specified above. There will be a piano in the audition room. Actors must bring any other instrument(s) they play. Please also bring a recent picture and resume.
