Workshop: The Art of Well-Being, Artists’ Health Alliance

This workshop helps artists, students, teachers and parents of students better understand what stress is — the signs, effects, coping mechanisms, and how to cultivate a better relationship to self. Through group counselling, guided meditation, visual mapping, and story-telling group members will collectively:

  • Share experiences around anxiety, overwhelm and depression
  • Identify and experience practical self-help tools like mindfulness and relaxation
  • Learn conscious communication techniques
  • Create personal and peer support networks
  • Design a holistic and proactive approach to personal wellness

All will walk away with a better understanding of what it means to be healthy and whole, and be able to employ simple tools to increase confidence, hope and resiliency.
