Volunteer: Puppet Allsorts Volunteer Positions Available, Toronto Puppetry Collective

As interest in puppetry arts grows and develops in the national and international community, Toronto has the opportunity to become a hotbed of puppetry in Canada.  With the support of the Ontario Arts Council, the Ontario Puppetry Association and our amazing sponsors the Puppet Allsorts Performance Series provides professional and emerging artists a space in which to present work.

It is the mandate of the Toronto Puppetry Collective is to develop a thriving centre for puppetry arts in Toronto by providing high quality work by professional artists and companies; creating opportunities for audiences to see diverse forms of puppetry on a regular basis; encouraging exploration and advancement of this sophisticated art form by fostering and supporting a community of professional artists; providing an incubator for up and coming artists to present new work; education in the art of puppetry through workshops and community events;  partnering with theatres and other organizations to reach a more diverse and wider audience; and bringing in international puppet companies and fostering connections with the international community of artists.

We are looking for enthusiastic dedicated volunteers who are passionate about puppetry and want to be a part of the growing puppetry community in the city.  Positions include: Fundraiser Volunteer, Publicity Volunteer, Social Media Volunteer, Special Events Volunteer, and Webmaster Volunteer.  The benefits for each are the same.  To see the individual job descriptions please visit our website: http://puppetallsorts.com/volunteer/
