A former member of The Nylons, Micah Barnes is a busy Music Industry Voice and Performance Coach having recently worked with Tatiana Maslany on the hit BBC America series “Orphan Black” and prepared Nina Dobrov (Vampire Diaries) and Hill Harper (CSI NY) for feature film roles.
Micah’s coaching credits include Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit CBC TV show “How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria”, Broadway cast members of “Pricilla Queen Of The Desert” “Pippin” and “Matilda” as well as working with established Jazz, R&B and Pop artists such as Universal Record Artist Blake McGrath (“So You Think You Can Dance Canada”) members of The Parachute Club and 5 time Juno award winner Billy Newton Davis.
His Singers Playground studio has trained thousands of singers in Los Angeles, New York and in Canada to make the most of their instruments and career opportunities.
