Theatre Columbus Seeks Female actor – age 16-19

Theatre Columbus is looking for a young female actor to play the part of Isabel in the Toronto premiere of Martha Ross’ The Dog and The Angel. This is the company’s 4th outdoor winter theatre production to be presented at the historic Evergreen Brick Works, December 11-31, 2014.
About the role:
Isabel is the daughter whose dog is in a coma and whose family is making her crazy. Martha Ross’ script celebrates the mayhem and miracle of family holidays.
The actor will be able to play in the age range of 14 to 18. This part is ideal for and individual looking to gain valuable experience working within a professional theatre company.
Rehearsals begin November 24th on location at the Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto. All accommodation will be made to work around school schedules, however there will be a few occasions that require the actor to attend daytime rehearsals during the week.
- The actor will be compensated with a weekly fee
- Must not be allergic to and feel comfortable working with a large dog
