Create new habits, new possibilities. The Alexander Technique is a psycho-physical educational method that helps release tension and improve coordination. This series is an interactive experience as you move through everyday activities such as sitting, standing and walking. Learn how your everyday movements and posture affect your life and everything you do!  Do whatever you do—better!

Facilitator:  Denise Mireau

Bio:
Denise Mireau is an Alexander Technique Teacher (member of ATI ), and a Pilates and Yoga instructor. She draws upon a wide range of movement experience as a dance artist and teacher of Middle Eastern dance. Her training also includes modern dance, Tai Chi and improvisation. Denise’s work as a certified Alexander Technique Teacher inspires and informs her approach to teaching movement and dance.  Her approach towards teaching allows her students to explore movement with greater awareness, acceptance and ease. She is the owner and director of The Studio For Movement: aiming to enhance people’s lives through movement.
