Fish2Frÿ, a new production company, is now accepting submissions for its upcoming theatre production of “The Eagle With Two Heads” written by Jean Cocteau and directed by Luke Gallo. The production is an Equity Artists’ Collective and will be performed at The Pia Bouman Scotiabank Theatre from March 25th – March 29th, 2015.
Fish2Frÿ Productions encourages submissions from actors of all
cultural backgrounds. For the role of Tony, priority will be given to actors who identify with the Deaf culture and who communicate using sign language.
The Eagle Has Two Heads tells the story of the unlikely love story that develops between an anarchist Queen and her monarchist would-be assassin.
We are accepting submissions for the following roles:
- EDITH (Female, mid 20’s to mid 30’s): The Queen’s reader.
- FELIX (Male, mid 20’s to mid 40’s): A duke. An admirer of the Queen and Edith’s ex lover.
- COUNT VON FOEHN (Male mid 30’s to mid 50’s): A powerful man. Traitor
- TONY (Male, mid 20’s to mid 50’s): The Queen’s loyal servant. Tony is deaf and communicates with sign language. *Priority will be given to actors who identify with the Deaf culture and who communicate using sign language.
